New Holland tractor company is one the main members of CNH Global group .
History
New Holland company was founded in year 1895 by Mr. Abe Zimmerman in New Holland , PA at USA . Later this company was purchased by Sperry Corporation in 1947 and its was renamed as Sperry-New Holland .
- Later in 1964 Sperry-New Holland purchased a major part in Claeys of Belgium (which was a combine harvestor manufacturer at that time .)
- Company had also manufactured lawn equipments until year 1974 , after that company sold its this portions to Areins ( an American lawn equipments manufacturer ) .
- Later Ford Motor Company purchased Sperry New Holand form Sperry and renamed it as Ford-New Holland .
- Later Ford-New Holland purchased Versatile tractor company in 1987 .
- Ford-New Holland sold a share to Fiat & later in year 1991 Fiat had purchased the whole company and Fiat granted permission to New Holland to use Ford brand name until year 2001 to strengthen their roots in tractor market .
- In year 1998 Ford-new holland purchased O&K(Orestein and Koppel), construction equipment company and sold this company same year to Terex .
- In year 2000 Fiat limited purchased Case IH and formed CNH Global to increase New Holland businesses with Case IH company sold Verstile and Genesis tractor part to Bulher Industries
- In year 2008 the production of T series tractor was ended at Basildon (UK) and engine production was also shut down and CNH has decided to use engines from Italy.

New Holland in India :- Company officially came with its name in year 1998 with its 70 hp model after that company set up its plant in Noida and started tractor production in India under New Holland brand name and other hand New Holland was still using Ford brand name until year 2001 .
