History
The company was in year 1893 in Poland , in initial time company used to produce exhaust engines and trucks . In year 1930 company started to manufacture military tractors , tanks and other heavy machines for soldiers . During world war II PZInz (which was National Engineering Works ) was shifted to Germany by Germans and after the war company reestablished itself and started to produce copies of Lanz Bulldog . Later in year 1959 company began manufacturing 100 % Polish tractors such as Ursus C-325 and between year 1950 to 1959 company had also started to manufacture another type of tractors which were Zetor based design ( Ursus C-4011 ) .

In year 1961 in Poland demand of tractors increased but tractors made by Ursus were not able to meet the growing demands of agriculture . Later there was two way agreement between Poland and Czechoslovakia i.e. Czechoslovakia would provide parts to Ursus factory to improve themselves and in exchange Ursus had to provide raw material to Czechoslovakia’s factories, the aim of this agreement was produce about 120,000 tractors per year with contribution of Ursus and Zetor but in year 1963 Poland was only producing 15,000 tractors annually
Ursus and Massey Ferguson & Perkins
In year 1974 an agreement was signed between Ursus and Massey Ferguson & Perkins that ursus could make tractors & engines licensed by these two companies .
